These surfaces are made from exceptionally unusual rocks mined from around the world extending from the far reaches of Australia, Indonesia, India, Madagascar, Morocco, Pakistan, Russia, Tanzania, and Mexico to here in the United States.

Due to the nature of how these rocks are mined, the supply is somewhat unreliable; however, we hope to stock some of the more common rocks all the time, while some of the rarer finds will only be offered on a limited or one time basis. So if you see something you like that has a limited supply, you might want to grab it, as we might not be able to get it in the future.

These rock surfaces are individually hand-made and shaped, so no two are exactly alike. We do our best to make them as round as possible and as close to .1 inches thick as possible but they are not perfect. We are continually working on honing our skills and techniques, as well as adding additional equipment, to improve the consistency of these surfaces, as this business continues to grow.

Each rock possesses different characteristics, which affects the workability and stability of each slab. We highly recommend that you start with a stable slab first, and then as you develop your skill of working with stone, you can move on to the less stable choices. The stable slabs are more durable, and similar in characteristics to slate, whereas the less stable slabs are a little more delicate in nature and should be handled as such. We also recommend that you do not use any type of clamps throughout your process.

These rock surfaces are very popular. We have sold thousands of them, by word of mouth only, with great success and feedback. However, due to the many skill levels, and all of the different, and varying processes used to make game calls, we are not able to guarantee them.

Listed below is a chart with pricing, rarity, and our stability rating. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
